Microsoft sort of confirms the Courier tablet
« on: March 24, 2010, 09:15:18 PM »

Seeking a job at Microsoft? Good, now head over at Engadget and arm yourself with all the facts about Microsoft’s rumored tablet project dubbed the Courier. Nevermind the fact that the Windows maker never officially confirmed the existence of its digital journal, they are nevertheless linking would-be employees to the Courier stories on tech blogs.

Did Redmond just officially confirm its tablet? Depends on how you look at it. According to a blog post at Microsoft’s JobsBlog, job seekers better do their homework before applying for a vacancy at Microsoft. And God forbid should they skip the Courier just because Microsoft never officially announced the project:

Interestingly, “Courier digital journal” is linked to an exclusive March report that first briefed the public extensively on the project. According to the rumor-mill, Microsoft has been shopping various Courier concepts around for some time, seeking partners that will help build an iPad-like device with two touchscreens which fold like a book.
