That’s more like it! Microsoft has confirmed that it is working on an option to purchase Xbox 360 games directly from Xbox One for users that want to.
Although as of right now, there is no date or time frame for when this would happen.
But it certainly would be a waste to let that considerable library of Xbox 360 games go to waste this way, and now that the new console has the ability to play compatible games from the previous generation machine, this move only makes sense.
There are some 100 Xbox 360 games that can be played on the Xbox One, but this is a list that is set to expand fast.
Phil Spencer confirmed this earlier today:

So there you go, the interest is certainly there.
Gamers currently have to log on to Xbox.com on their PC and make purchases of Xbox 360 game from there, which are then immediately reflected on their Xbox One consoles.
Still, the process is counterintuitive, quite counterintuitive.
Welcome as it is, Microsoft will need to really think this option through and implement it well. The last thing the company needs is users mistakenly buying the Xbox 360 version of a particular game when they actually wanted to get the Xbox One version.
