It would appear that in spite of the tablet market crisis, there’s still a little bit of room for growth, in some segments. Among them there’s the 2 in 1 device area, where the lower priced models will succeed. Experts also expect Microsoft and Amazon to perform over the next months.

Market research agency TrendForce has published its findings in a new report, that shows Microsoft and Amazon as winners in this period. Amazon has its new $50 tablet to thank, offered with a 7 inch 1024 x 600 pixel display, a 1.3 GHz quad core CPU and 1 GB of RAM. It’s actually not a bad device, especially since it offers up to 7 hours of functioning time.

TrendForce is also optimistic about the future of Amazon, if they keep the low cost strategy and they claim that this new machine will ship over 3 million units in Q4. Microsoft is also set to power a range of 2 in 1 models with its OS and experts expect their Q3 shipments to grow by 13.4%. Surface 3 and Surface Pro 3 are also grow ingand at the year end Microsoft will have registered 3.8 million slates shipped, an annual growth of 44%.

At last check Lenovo was also growing, so the whole product segment may be bumped up by these companies.
