Puncayshun, the former World Record holder for Super Mario 64, 120 Stars has decided to race against a Japanese speedrunner called Nero who has been practising SM64 a lot on Twitch. Puncayshun was watching Nero whilst he was running and Nero managed to beat Puncayshun's World Record. The World Record since then was 1:42:32, but Nero bopped it with 1:42:15. There are a small number of mistakes in the run and there is still room for improvement. According to the Livesplit software split times, a run with perfect RNG and movements can lead to a 1:40 happening in the future.
