Destiny Beta Multiplayer Maps
« on: July 19, 2014, 04:06:41 AM »
The time has come; the Destiny Beta has arrived. As we approach the beta, along with the game’s full release, Bungie will slowly release more and more about the game. This past week has brought us countless amounts of information regarding Beta content, specifically competitive multiplayer maps available in Destiny. These Destiny Beta Multiplayer Maps will be available on July 17th for Playstation players, and July 23rd for Xbox One users. Below are videos and details of the revealed maps.

First Light

If you managed to get your hands on the Playstation exclusive Destiny Alpha, you may recognize this large, vehicular-based map. Taking place on a large Moon landscape, First Light allows for wide open vehicle combat, as well as interior combat for Guardians. Two vehicles, Pikes and Interceptors, are available to each team, and Guardians can spawn their own Sparrows on this map as well.

Rusted Lands

Rusted Lands was another map that was available during the Destiny Alpha Sneak Peek. This map is located in Old Russia, Earth, an explorable area within Destiny’s free-roam, so the theme will be very familiar. The map features two main buildings as well as destroyed structure in the center of the map that becomes the home of the B objective during Control matches.

All four of these maps are available during Destiny’s Beta, which launched today (July 17th) for Playstation, and will be released to Xbox players on July 23rd.
