Microsoft recently released an
army of updates for Windows 8 and Windows RT but, the software giant didn’t forget its first ever tablet. Surface has also got an update to fix he Wi-Fi connectivity problems which was occurring to some Surface users.
The update has been confirmed by Microsoft employee at the official Surface answers forum by Microsoft. This update was expected for a long time as the users were facing this problem since the very first day of Surface launch.
Surface users were getting No or limited connectivity problems on Wi-Fi which was very annoying as users couldn’t connect to internet but, Microsoft has finally acknowledged the need for the update and has released an update to fix that.
This update by Microsoft is the second one specifically for Surface whereas, the last one was released in November to improve performance. Surface users can get the update from Windows Updates along with dozens of other updates whose details can be found here.
