With Windows 8 less than a week away from official launch date of October 25, Microsoft has started to publicize the OS in every mean. We have already seen the official Windows 8 ad which highlighted the number 8 but, now other TV series are also featuring Windows 8. The latest example is the popular Walking Dead which shows the Windows 8 on a tablet.
Although, the full premiere is not available to watch but, you can see the Windows 8 part in which Rick James can be seen surfing the walking dead website on Internet Explorer when a message comes from a Zombie girl saying that ‘new ep at my place? Sunday night at 9?’. He saves the date in Calendar app and then, goes to sleep.
He sees a message that ‘I can’t wait to eat you’ and suddenly, the zombie comes on his house door and breaks open it. He wakes up and sees that the message was ‘I can’t wait to meet you’.

Windows 8 in Walking Dead seems to be the part of $1 billion marketing campaign by Microsoft.
