A huge Microsoft Surface banner advertisement has been spotted in Times Square of New York City. The banner has been placed on a building on the second floor and it can be seen on the three sides of the corner.

Time Square is probably the most visited place in whole New York or even in US and thousands of companies display their products there, to be showed to the millions of people who visit the location each day.

Now, Microsoft has also displayed the biggest Surface banner there to advertise its new Surface tablet which is scheduled to be launched on October 25. June Blender, who works as a programmer for Microsoft on PowerShell posted the image of the Surface banner at Times Square on her Twitter profile.

This banner is not the first one of its kind and previously we have seen the banner ads on dozens of places. Even subways and transit stations have been flooded with the Surface banner advertisements.

Microsoft will launch the Surface RT (Surface running Windows RT) on October 25 but, it hasn’t been announced whether we will see the pre-orders of the tablet or not. Also, the pricing hasn’t been announced but, Steve Ballmer hinted the Surface to be priced around the sweet spot of $300 – $800. Its also unclear whether Surface would be launched globally on launch date or we will see its launch in US and some other selective countries.
