Microsoft has now officially opened the flood gates for the mass banner advertisement of its Surface tablet. Previously, the ads which were being seen once or twice a day are now appearing dozens at a time. The ads have been placed on subway stations, bus stops and other public places. The ads have been spotted in Washington, New York, San Francisco and Philadelphia.

Microsoft will be launching the Surface tablet on October 25 in an event in New York but, the software giant hasn’t stopped advertisement of its tablet instead, the advertisements banners have been spotted in various cities of US.

The ad campaign started with the graffiti artworks last month with dozens of artworks seen on buildings or walk ways. The artwork campaign then stopped suddenly and the banner advertisement started to appear. Now, Microsoft has positioned dozens of Surface banners in various cities of US out of which few have been mentioned below.

Mike Lee from Washington posted a whole Flick gallery of Surface banners at Washington DC subway station. Interestingly, the banners are all over the place from paths ways to walls as well as the pillars. You can see the images below yourself.

San Francisco also has similar banners at the city civic center. You can see the banner on the path way in the image posted by Burt Herman on his Twitter profile.

New York central station also got the banners and they are all over the walls. The image was posted by Raymond Wong on his Twitter profile.

In addition to these banners, we have already seen the banners at New York bus stop, Washington DC subway (◄ image under wash & dc) and the Boston subway.

There may be more such banners in different US cities and if, you get to know about more such banners, lets us know and we will share the news with our readers in a new blog post.
