Facebook Ends Gmail Contact Import feature is missing
« on: November 22, 2010, 04:56:10 PM »
Google and Facebook are at it again. Even though both have denied any bad relations between each other, both the companies are ending support on each other. We just learned that Facebook has ended support of Gmail from the Friend Finder feature which lets users import or send invites to friends using the Gmail address.

Facebook earlier allowed users to add friends using the different tabs or buttons of some of the best ID’s which users are known with. Facebook users could add friends from Yahoo!, Skype, Hotmail, Gmail as well as other services but recently we discovered that Gmail import feature is missing.

Whereas we did find the Gmail feature missing on the Friend Finder, users don't need to be sad about this. On the right hand side of the Facebook Homepage you would see a section of Get Connected, from where you can click Invite them now link to help yourself add some Gmail friends.
