iBall has expanded its portfolio of Android tablets in the country with the launch of the iBall 3G 1026-Q18 slate for Rs 12,999. The company had released the iBall 3G Q7271-IPS20 tablet earlier this month for Rs 9,699, which offered Android 4.4 KitKat and a 7-inch HD display.
The new Slide 3G 1026-Q18 flaunts a 10.1-inch HD display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor, paired with 1GB of RAM. There is 8GB of internal storage on board, which is further expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card.
Camera wise, it offers a 5MP rear shooter with LED flash and a 2MP front snapper for video calls. The slate offers voice-calling and features dual-SIM slots. The rest of the connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Bluetooth tethering, USB OTG, USB tethering and micro-USB. The battery capacity on board is 4,600mAh, but there’s no word on the talk time and standby time.
The iBall Slide 3G 1026-Q18 doesn’t feature an earpiece, so you'll need to use the loudspeaker or a compatible headset for voice-calls.
Earlier this year, iBall launched the 3G 7345Q-800 Android tablet with a 7-inch display and voice-calling support for Rs 11,999. The dual-SIM slate runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and offers a quad-core 1.3GHz processor, 8GB of internal storage and a 3,000mAh battery.
