Microsoft has launched the Windows 8.1 RTM as an upgrade for Windows 8 users and retail DVD. Now, Microsoft has released two important updates for Windows 8.1 which fix the issues and make performance improvements.
The updates for the month of October were already released on Patch Tuesday last week and now, the software giant has released these updates after patch Tuesday.
KB 2884846:
This update seems to be a performance update for Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1 which is marked as important. The descriptions of the update doesn’t mention the items which are updated in Windows 8.1 but, the update is recommended by Microsoft to keep using PC smoothly.

This update for Windows 8.1 fixes the crash issues of the ‘Run Time Broker’ which results in the termination of connection to Windows Store. The Store shows that you are not connected to internet.
