Windows 8 finally surpasses Apple's OSX Mountain Lion in market share

Windows 8 is now at a market share of 2.45% according to Net Applications, which means Windows 8 has finally surpassed Mac OS X Mountain Lion usage! This means Windows 8 is still indeed growing, and at a fast pace too!



Now, the next goal to pass is Windows Vista, which is still being used by 5.01% of the market, Windows XP usage currently sits at 38.18%, which is rather worrying, let go of the past! So, while Windows 8 is finally above Mac users, it still has a lot of climbing to do to surpass Vista and XP.
 
Are you using Windows 8 yet? If not, you better hurry and purchase an upgrade before January 31st for 39.99, otherwise you'll have to pay full price!
