today had some rather mad folks....
1. Windows 8 Pro WMC and office 2013
a. failed to start system.... found the CPU was dead....
b. he decided to
b1 upgrade to better CPU
b2. install a new Video Card.
2. All installed and started fine... then instantly he was NOT ACTIVATED ON BOTH....
3. add Office Product Key and activated.
4. added Windows 8 Pro WMC key and "OverLimit on Activation"
5. Had to call M$ with Phone Activation Method to ReActivate Windows 8...
(IMHO) this is 100% PURE NONSENSE....
Now two people replaced both CPU and mobo....he simply wanted better faster... same thing... happened...
This is a good reason for Windows 8 to fail.... to many ppl will have NO IDEA what or WHY and consider it MONEY WASTED....
an a REAL HASSLE to call or wait again for M$ to offer a fix....
I for one was told that EA of my Legit Keys was good for 10 Activations .... so why would the Windows 8 Pro WMC key not be good for 10 also...
such nonsense....Windows 8 has cost me several very large and a couple of smaller business.... contracts...
