Microsoft: 128-bit versions of Windows 9
« on: September 18, 2010, 11:13:54 AM »
The next client version of Windows 9: apparently Microsoft is going to prepare it for 128-bit as well. We're not saying Windows 9 will definitely come in 64-bit and 128-bit flavors, but Microsoft is moving down that path, and at the very least, Windows 9 just might.
Perhaps already Windows 8 might be involved!

What do you think??
And what about leaving the x86 Path (32Bit)?

Like IE 6, and Windows XP...it is time to Kill off x86 32Bit Operating Systems, Software too.

This alone will create an economic stimulus with the purchase of 64 and 128Bit systems + new software to run on them.

Just another way to force businesses off their garbage programs.  Hope it works better than the move from 16 to 32 bit though
There's no place like 127.0.0.1
