The TRUtablet 9 is an 8.9 inch multi-touch tablet, with a TFT Low-Pressure Resistive LCD screen, with a resolution of 1024×600. It is equipped with an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz and Intel GMA950 video card with 1 GB of DDR2 memory. All models come with WiFi, Bluetooth, a 1.3MP webcam, 3 USB ports, and an SD card slot. Also, there are built-in speakers, 3.5mm audio jack and audio line. The TRUtablet runs Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, weighs 2.0 lbs, and has a 1,700 mAh battery that can last 2 1/2 hours when in use.
Options for the TRUtablet 9 are the 2.200 mAh battery that can last up to 4 hours and an expansion up to 128GB.
This is considered a state-of-the-art device that allows you to browse the web, play flash games, watch TV and movies, listen to music and news, read books, download apps and organize your photos. The drag, tap, flick functions make navigating around your favorite websites a breeze.
The TRUtablet 9 was scheduled for pre-order on the 15th of February with shipment in March, with the starting price at $650.00, also available April 2010 is the TRUtablet 7 which is a 7″ version with 8GB SSD hard drive, so far no price has been announced.
