Samsung announces the new 950 Pro SSD with V-NAND

Samsung today introduced the company’s latest SSD, the 950 Pro. The 950 Pro comes with V-NAND, which will offer ridiculous speed. The company is offering a 512GB model, which will be able to read at 2,500MB/s and write at 1500MB/s per second. The company is also offering a 256GB variant which will able to read at 2,150MB/s, and write at 1,550MB/s.



Both of the variants of the 950 Pro will be available in October. The 512GB variant will be priced at $350, while the 256GB variant will be available for $200.
