Xbox Live’s Major Nelson has revealed that the Xbox One July update will be rolling out in “the coming days”. The details of the new update were revealed to the gaming community last month, and comes loaded with some cool new features. These features include enhanced snap mode for achievements, more voice control choices for select regions, and a double-tap to snap feature as well.
The enhanced snap mode for achievements seems to be the most interesting addition, offering gamers useful tools to accomplish in game goals. Check out the official video from Xbox to see the new update in action, as well as the screenshots below for highlights of the update.
Achievement SnapYou can now snap achievements while you are playing a game, to keep track of your progress with ease. They will be sorted by how close you are to unlocking them, and will update your progress in real time. The new update will also allow players to re-organize the achievement list, moving priority achievements near the top to keep track of easier.
Search for achievement help
Players will now have a “search for achievement help” option available for each achievement if they are struggling. If a player is having trouble locking down an achievement they can simply click on the search button, which will launch their Internet Explorer browser launching a search for any useful tips or information regarding the achievement.
