Microsoft releases 10 new Themes to celebrate Windows 8.1 release

With the recent General Availability of Windows 8.1 , many of you might have already upgraded to Windows 8.1. And to compliment that, Microsoft has released many stunning new Windows themes. The themes include the likes of Beaches, Birds, Classic cars, Scenery , colors, Xbox game, panoramic themes. Check them all and install whichever you like or get them all, they are so good!

Animals Panoramic theme

If you are one of those who use dual monitors on Windows 8.1 or Windows 8, there’s  a Panoramic Theme featuring breathtaking majesty of wild animals in their natural habitats. The theme is designed to smoothly span dual monitors. It features 13 images ranging from penguins on an Antarctic ice to a camel in the Gobi Desert.

Glowing Beaches theme

This theme features 14 stunning Beaches images from around the world —from California to New Zealand.

Sunny Shores theme

This is another of beaches theme featuring 13 images of stunning sun-drenched colors of beaches from Europe to Africa to Australia

Small Birds theme

This theme features 14 images of delicate, colorful birds like Juncos, sparrows, Chestnut Chickadee. These features the photos of Jessica Lee and Bryan Matthew. This theme has become one of my favorites and presently using it.

Large Birds theme

After small birds, there’s one for Large birds too. This theme consists of 8 images ranging from snowy Owl in flight to a Bald Eagle perched among the trees. These too are taken from photos of photos of Jessica Lee and Bryan Matthew.

Classic Sports Cars theme

This theme consists of 19 images from vintage racer to modern supercar—it’s a timeless classic. A mix of old and newer cars including 1955 Aston Martin, ’56 Mercedes-Benz, ’58 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, the ‘60 Corvette, ’64 Porsche and newer ones like 2004 Ferrari Enzo and the McClaren F1.
