Microsoft will be pushing the Surface tablet to more retailers around the world and now, the tablet has popped-up at Amazon for sale. The Surface with Windows RT version has been listed on Amazon and both; the 32GB and 64GB models are available with touch covers. Special discounts (not really) are also being offered.
Microsoft was expected to push the Surface tablet to retailers this week but, we weren’t sure that the tablet would be available on retailers so early.
Amazon.com is listing both the Surface models and they are listed to have been in stock. Surface RT 32GB model is being sold $589.99 whereas, the 64GB model with touch cover is being sold for $812.
Although, the pricing of both models are way over the pricing where the tablet is being sold at Microsoft Stores e.g. Surface RT 32GB model for $499 at Microsoft Store and $812 over at Amazon. Similarly, Surface RT 64GB model is being sold for $812 at Amazon whereas, the same costs $699 at Microsoft Store.
Well, the pricing maybe a bit higher but, still the tablet is appearing at retailer which is a good sign for people who couldn’t get the tablet. Also, on looking on other retailers like Staples, Office Depot and Rogers etc, Surface couldn’t be found on sale there so, it’s Amazon for now who is selling Surface.
