Have you chosen your side in the battle of the modern war games? EA and DICE will release Battlefield 3 for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 next week. To celebrate, they’ve created a launch trailer that is super intense. More intense than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3′s launch trailer? Maybe, but that’s up to you to decide.

However, Battlefield 3 does have one major point its favor. The trailer (and game, obviously) features everyone’s favorite Secret Service agent. That’s right, Glenn Morshower of “24″ plays a General that’s even been modeled to look like him.

Battlefield 3 is going to own MW3 and that's a fact!
Played the beta and its like a dealer giving me crack for free, getting me hooked and then taking it away, it leaves me serious withdrawal

If DICE delivers on half of what this Battlefield 3: Multiplayer Game Trailer shows, we are in for one hell of a treat. WOW! This is probably the best trailer I’ve seen in quite a while. I won’t keep you from it long, but I have to give you a brief rundown on what you’ll be looking at.

This trailer shows gameplay action “from each of the nine multiplayer maps available in Battlefield 3.” I can’t think of any one way you aren’t fighting in the multiplayer mode. Out of planes, in tanks, on the ground, machine gun equipped ATV like riders (I’m sure it has another name), etc. You have to watch this trailer to feel my excitement. In addition to those brief views, we get the very “first glimpse of the post-launch digital expansion pack Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand”, which will be available free for those who pre-order.
