What mac would suit me?
« on: November 21, 2009, 09:36:43 AM »
Next year, I hope to buy an apple mac computer, but I don't know which one to get. I don't hve a lot of money. I'm thinking about buying an iMac or a Macbook Pro. I need a mac which has a firewire port for my M-audio 1814 interface that I'm getting at Christmas.

Well there's your first problem.  Look forward to spending quite a bit on a Mac.

Of course, I would try to get a Macbook Pro, but it would all depend on your price range.

I might be able to afford a white macbook, are they good?

They're not bad, but I do not believe they have a FireWire port on them.  It's also $1000 for the lowest model, which has the same specs as your average $600 PC.
