NVIDIA Releases Windows 10 Compatible Drivers For All GPUs
« on: July 29, 2015, 08:22:48 PM »
The big day is made even better! NVIDIA has just released Windows 10 compatible drivers for its complete range of graphics hardware. These new updates, the company says, fix compatibility issues.

Issues that have been reported by users over the past couple of weeks.

Coinciding with the release date of Microsoft’s new operating system, NVIDIA has made available two new driver versions — namely version 353.62 and 341.74 — to ensure compatibility with Windows 10 for all of the company’s GPU models.

These are provided for the GeForce and Quadro line of products, respectively.

That said, the 341.74 legacy build only adds support for the new operating system for older NVIDIA chipset models.

A number of changes and fixes are included in this new driver package, including solutions for an issue where the mouse cursor would not track correctly in Windows 10. These new drivers also solve streaming problems from PC to NVIDIA SHIELD tablet.

Users had reported that mouse was only visible on the PC when streaming.

Some Sony Vegas Pro 13 crashes are also resolved, and NVIDIA states that staring or switching tasks in applications and games when G-Sync is enabled would not encounter any delays.

Speaking of compatibility, these new driver packages also work on previous versions of the operating system, including Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1. But this is an extra special treat for early adopters of Windows 10 so that they can enjoy the new experience.
