ASUS Philippines has brought the new and improved FonePad 7 FE170CG over to our side of the fence and theyre banking on its respectable feature set and more affordable price tag to win over the budget-conscious Filipino consumers.
Apart from the subtle changes that the company made on the tablets design, the new FonePad 7 is also significantly lighter and thinner than the previous model.
However, in exchange for its leaner body and more wallet-friendly price, ASUS had to cut back on some of its feature like its internal storage (from 8GB to 4GB), camera (from 5MP to 2MP) and screen resolution (from WXGA to WSVGA). Luckily most of the things we liked about its predecessor are still present on this new model.
