Title: Amazon Debuts Metal Version of Fire 10 Tablet, With Up to 64 GB of Storage

You may have missed the fact that Amazon announced a fresh tablet this week, on account it’s not exactly a new model. We’re talking about the Amazon Fire 10 tablet, that now comes with a metal shell. Up until now it was available with a plastic chassis and felt a bit cheap.

Now we’re getting a Fire 10 with a silver metal finish, plus the added bonus of extra storage, up to 64 GB in fact. The starting version remains the $229 16 GB slate, but there’s also the 64 GB alternative, with $289 pricing and the aluminum finish as the bonus. All the other specs stay the same, including the 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display, quad core CPU at 1.5 GHz and stereo speakers.

There’s a 5 MP camera in the mix and a microSD card slot. The Fire 10 is supposed to be two times as durable as the Apple iPad and on paper we are promised up to 8 hours of battery life. There’s 1 GB of RAM inside and a HD front facing camera included. When you’re binge watching, Dolby Atmos tech will take care of acoustics.  You can find the product here (http://www.amazon.com/Fire-Tablet-10-1-Display-Wi-Fi/dp/B0189XYY0Q?ie=UTF8&tag=wp-amazon-associate-20).
