Asus is updating its ZenPad line of Android tablets with two new models featuring 8 and 10 inch displays and entry-level/mid-range specs.
The new Asus ZenPad 8 (Z380M) (http://www.asus.com/Tablets/ASUS-ZenPad-8-0-Z380M/) and Asus ZenPad 10 (Z300M) (http://www.asus.com/Tablets/ASUS-ZenPad-10-Z300M/) both feature Android 6.0 software and both are powered by MediaTek MT8163 quad-core processors. Most earlier members of the ZenPad family had Intel Atom processors.

Both of the new tablets feature 1280 x 800 pixel displays, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 5MP rear cameras, and 2MP front cameras.
They both also have micro USB ports, microSD card readers, and headset jacks.

The 10 inch model measures 9.9″ x 6.8″ x 0.3″ and weighs 1.1 pounds. It features an 18 Wh battery, and the ZenPad 10 (Z300M) features 2GB of RAM, and Asus will offer models with 16GB or 32GB of storage.
The Asus ZenPad 8 (Z830M) tablet is 8.2″ x 4.8″ x 0.3″ and weighs 12.3 ounces. It has a 15.2 Wh battery, a single front-facing speaker, and 1GB to 2GB of RAM and 8GB to 16GB of storage.

If you’re looking for a ZenPad tablet with a higher-resolution display and more memory and storage, your best bet is still the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 (Z580CA) (http://www.asus.com/Tablets/ASUS_ZenPad_S_80_Z580CA/).

Asus has yet to announce an update for this tablet, which features a 2048 x 1536 pixel display, up to an Atom Z3580 processor, up to 4GB of RAM, and up to 64GB of storage.
