Chinese device maker Pip has launched a new computer with an Intel Atom Cherry Trail processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and an 8.9 inch touchscreen display.
But the Pipo X9S isn’t a tablet… well, not exactly. Like last year’s Pipo X8 and X9 models, this is a funny looking mini-desktop computer with a touchscreen display as well HDMI output for an external display.

The new model looks a lot like the original X9, but in addition to a more powerful processor, it has twice as much RAM. Here’s a run-down of the available specs:
■ Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor
■ 4GB of RAM
■ 64GB of storage
■ microSD card slot for up to 64GB of remvoable storage
■ 10/100 Ethernet
■ Four USB 2.0 ports
■ 802.11b/g/n WiFi
■ Bluetooth 4.0
■ 3.5mm audio jack
The Pipo X9S ships with Windows 10 Home software.
Or if you don’t need a screen, you could just opt for the recently announced Pipo X6S mini PC (http://www.geekbuying.com/item/PIPO-X6S-Windows10-Mini-PC-Intel-Cherry-Trail-Z8300-Quad-Core-1-84GHz-4GB-64GB-AC-WIFI-Dual-RJ45-SATA-HDMI-1080P---Black-361890.html?source=ShareAsale) which has the same processor, memory, and storage, but which also has a SATA drive bay, dual Ethernet jacks, and a USB 3.0 port.
