[UPDATE:] And here it is! (courtesy of JoBlo on YouTube, because iTunes is rubbish) New droids and ships, new stormtroopers and a new Sith with a new lightsaber sword! What it lacks in familiar characters it makes up for with goosebump popping nostalgia a-plenty in the form of the Millennium Falcon, X-Wings flying in formation and that familiar whine of TIE fighters – all with that JJ.Abrams signature sheen. Our faith is restored!
Original Story:
While excited shoppers in the UK and US are involved in store wars this Black Friday, hype is building up towards a must see event for all geeks – the arrival of the new Star Wars trailer on iTunes!

Original characters including Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia are set to reunite once more for adventures in a Galaxy Far, Far Away in the franchise’s seventh episode titled Star Wars: The Force Awakens with 88 seconds of footage expected at some point this afternoon. And according to tweets from Disney France’s President Jean-Francois Camilleri that time will be approximately 15:15pm here in Britain (10:15am EST).
With this news now in, we’re going to rest the trigger finger for an hour after rapidly refreshing the iTunes homepage since early this morning and we’ll report back when the trailer goes live!
