Venus doesn’t have trees! Come on, Bungie. What is this, science fiction?
Just like the Mars gameplay trailer that ran last week for Destiny (http://www.windows8newsinfo.com/smf/index.php?topic=27472.0), Bungie has released a brand new look at the world of Venus through the eyes of Guardians. It comes complete with the same quotes from the press, so enjoy that.
While Mars was more of a reddish planet rocking brutal, heavy warriors, Venus comes in shades of green, blue and gold with enemies more robotic and spindly than the Martians. It seems, I don’t know, more god-like than the other trailer, which is interesting in and of itself.
Destiny, when it arrives on Sept. 9, is packing a whole lot of hype. With quotes like “more than a game” peppering each and every sizzle reel and gameplay trailer, Bungie’s banking on this title standing as a way of life for fans.
I know I ate, slept and breathed Halo like 10 years ago, so maybe the same will happen with Destiny.
The game will sell for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
