The latest trailer for Bungie’s incoming first-person shooter, Destiny, takes us to our neighboring planet of Mars.
As always, the red planet is depicted as a very red planet, layered with its famous red dust and sandstorms. Ancient abandoned mining ruins point to early attempts at colonization, meaning treasures and other weapons and resources are bound to be waiting below. Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans all scour the surface, scanning the landscape for action and blowing apart the surface when they find it.
Hopefully, they are avenging the deaths of your beta characters now that Bungie has killed them all off. Unlike the moon, no wizards here on Mars it seems. However, maybe the heroes of Destiny just don’t know where to look. Who knows what is lurking beneath the armor of some of these soldiers?
Seriously? Are there no other “good” Mars movies to reference here? Destiny will be released on Sept. 9 for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
