As a part of IGN’s exclusive Destiny coverage for the month of July, they’ve been able to take a look at a handful of multiplayer maps in Destiny. The first four maps they featured were available in the Destiny Beta, but the most recent map reveal, a map called “Twilight Gap”, was not available. Below is the first full-length gameplay we’ve seen on the new map.
Lars Bakken, Design Lead for Destiny, describes Twilight Gap as a medium-sized, infantry based map. Set on an abandon military base on the outskirts of the Last City, Twilight Gap once again brings Guardians to Earth to battle in the Crucible.
The map features mainly close-quarters combat, with some varied open sightlines around the B Control objective point. In addition to some awesome gameplay, players will be able to enjoy an incredible skybox of the Traveller in the distance. Below is IGN’s full tour of the map with Lars Bakken.
