The images which are captured with your digital or DSLR cameras are high resolution images which are good if you want to print out the images without losing the quality. However, when it comes to uploading images on the web, or sharing them with others, size can become an issue.
VarieDrop is a tool that can convert and resize your images and eliminate this problem for you. It is a small, simple and lightweight application that easily gets downloaded on your system and can produce multiple size images by just dragging and dropping. You need not to go to various tabs and options in this freeware resizing tool to perform your task as everything is present just on the main application window only.

The main window of the application is divided into five different sections. To convert and resize your images you just need to drag and drop your images on that section of the window where you want your image file to be converted into. Suppose you want to convert your image file into JPEG format, then just drag your image and drop it into Area 1. As soon as you drop your image processing get started and in a matter of few seconds your converted image file can be seen in the output folder. There is a Set button with every section (excluding Area 5) which is basically used for settings purpose.

In Settings you can decide your file output format, quality and sampling, maximum file size, etc. You can also resize your image file by filling the values inside Width and Height box. You can also choose the folder where you want your converted files to be present after conversion.

There is also an OPTIONS button on the bottom of the interface from where you can create a shortcut on desktop, you can change the text size, specify the background color and much more.
