Post by: javajolt on October 19, 2012, 09:40:40 PM
Microsoft has already demonstrated the Surface tablet durability when Steven Sinofsky used it as a skateboard but, now another video has been released on official Surface YouTube channel showing the Surface being dropped from 13-inches onto the hard floor. The camera of Surface was recording the moment when the tablet was dropped.

Microsoft wants to prove that Surface has been made for harsh environment and can handle drops or wear and tears and Surface truly is a very tough thanks to its vapor mag casing and Gorilla Glass display.

The Surface drop test shows the camera still recording even after the drop from 30-inches onto the hard floor.

I say take it outside and drop it on the sidewalk

Surface RT (Surface tablet running Windows RT) is now available for pre-order for the cost of $499 and above but, it would be shipped on October 26 with Windows 8.
