Post by: javajolt on May 22, 2012, 10:35:50 PM
Microsoft has made available a few new changes to it's SkyDrive service. SkyDrive now features a 40% smaller URL, so it is easier than ever to use on Twitter as well as a new domain name for the short URL service. SkyDrive also features OpenGraph support for those who want to share URLs to Facebook.

SkyDrive URLs are now reduced by 40% so that they fit inside a Tweet. As for Facebook, SkyDrive now has OpenGraph support so that URLs can turn into nice thumbnail previews once pasted into places like Facebook. On top of that, SkyDrive has also formed a partnership with bitley to feature a new domain name for the shortened service, called sdrv.ms
