The Aero Vodochody Ae-45, a twin-engine, low-wing utility aircraft, is now available to fly in Microsoft Flight Simulator latest update. In real life, the aircraft was first introduced in 1948 and was a popular choice for civil and military operators in dozens of countries.

The Ae-45 is available in two versions in Microsoft Flight Simulator: the prototype and the Ae-145, a more advanced version with supercharged engines and improved avionics. Both versions are available with a variety of liveries, and the Ae-45 is available now in Microsoft Flight Simulator for $14.99.

“Pilots can take flight in the craft for various purposes, from practicing basic maneuvers to embarking on trans-oceanic or multi-continental journeys. The Local Legend Ae-45 is a rendition of the prototype of the airframe and is available with four liveries: Prototype, Polished, OK-FHA, and Plain White,” the update reads.

With an impressive range of 1,100 miles, a service ceiling of 19,400 feet, a rate of climb of 980 feet per minute, a cruise speed of 160 miles per hour, and a top speed of 175 mph, the legendary Ae-45 is surely a welcome addition to aviation enthusiasts.

If you may remember, the MSFMS July update (the World Update 14) also brings a set of new locations to the game: Czechia (Czech Republic), Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Slovenia, and Croatia.
